This microphone has impressed me. It has a nice long cord and works perfectly with my Nikon 5200 dslr camera. The sound quality is excellent. I'm an audiophile, so trust me when I say this mic sounds great. I'd probably lower the highs slightly in post to eliminate a slight noise floor hiss, but that's just being picky. The mic sounds great, and I'm glad that this low-cost option produces a more expensive-sounding result.
